This is a playlist of lectures on how value investing really works, by Bruce Greenwald.
Bruce Corman Norbert Greenwald, is a professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business and an advisor at First Eagle Investment Management.
Those are not the most exciting or entertaining lectures, but if you have the dedication to sit through all of them, take notes and think about the lessons taught in every lecture, I am almost certain that you’ll learn more than what you’d learn by consuming all of the content put out by YouTube value investing guru’s – PhD’s or not alike.
I highly recommend watching a maximum of 1 lecture per day and taking notes. If you have time left after taking one of the lectures, I would suggest turning off all devices, looking at your notes and thinking for yourself.
What was just said? What does it all mean? Did you understand every word and it’s actual meaning?
Ask those questions after each lecture, and if you find yourself not being completely sure after giving it due thought, consider writing down specific questions that you couldn’t answer and doing further research.
