Gold Project Near Canadian Malartic, But Does the Geology Extend?

Renforth Resources has two main projects in Quebec’s Abitibi region: Parbec, a gold deposit sitting immediately next to Agnico Eagle’s Canadian Malartic mine on the Cadillac Break, and Victoria, a larger polymetallic (nickel, cobalt, copper, zinc, platinum, palladium) structure about 20 km long. The conversation covers recent drilling and channel sampling, metallurgy, financing, ownership structure, and the company’s relationship with neighbor Agnico Eagle.

TL;DR

Renforth is channel sampling and awaiting a drill permit at Parbec while drilling roughly 1,000 metres at Victoria, with that program expected to finish in July. Assay results are expected to run late because Parbec channel sample results are delayed by at least a week beyond the original schedule, likely landing late July, while Victoria assays are expected mid to late August. Brewster said Agnico Eagle has told her directly they control the timeline on Parbec and have declined to act despite past offers, some of which she has turned down. The company is not planning a major raise before these catalysts land, aside from a small flow-through financing for existing shareholders. Fully diluted share count is now over half a billion, and Brewster named access to capital as the main risk going forward.

What have they done for shareholders lately?

At Parbec, Renforth has completed surface stripping and channel sampling, and applied for a drill permit designed to cover several years of work. Early metallurgical test work using a bottle roll cyanide leach test showed the gold is not locked up and can be recovered using conventional processing. At Victoria, the company published an initial inferred resource in October 2025, and has since gone back and reassayed material to confirm platinum and palladium are consistently present in low but measurable amounts. Early-stage test work with Tomra in Germany showed the ore can be sorted to increase grade and reduce waste, and characterization and liberation testing with ALS indicated conventional grinding and flotation can liberate the mineralization, though three separate processing circuits would likely be needed.

How much money do they have and what are they spending it on?

The most recent financing closed in March, raising about C$1 million through a non-brokered private placement with Canadian investors at 2.5 cents per share, with a five-cent warrant attached for two years. That investor, referred to as Frank, now holds close to 15% of the company. Brewster said the current drill and sampling programs are already paid for. She is now running a small flow-through financing aimed at existing shareholders, which she described as not material in size. She said a larger capital raise will be needed at some point, and mentioned exploring divestment of non-core assets (Malartic West, Nixon Bartleman) as an alternative way to fund Victoria’s advancement without further dilution.

Upcoming catalysts

Technical: Parbec channel sample assay results, expected late July at the earliest, delayed due to a lab logistics issue with the silver assay component. Victoria drill assay results, expected mid to late August, from the roughly 1,000-metre, three to four hole program wrapping up in July. Corporate: confirmation of the Parbec drill permit, which Brewster said would remove permitting risk for three years once granted. Potential announcements related to non-core asset divestment discussions, which Brewster said are ongoing but did not commit to a timeline for.

Risks

Brewster identified access to capital as the primary risk, tied to the company’s thinly traded stock and reliance on future financings. Permitting risk remains open at Parbec until the drill permit is issued, though she said no First Nations or local community issues have come up so far. She also flagged that Parbec’s channel sample assay results are running late due to a lab handling error, and that the Victoria drill program had a slow start due to water line setup and weather delays. She named ongoing negotiating leverage with Agnico Eagle, who she said is deliberately not acting while waiting to see if Renforth can sustain funding, as a structural pressure point rather than a near-term catalyst.
